About Me

If we haven’t met before, welcome 👋 I’m Nathalie!

I grew up in Lakefield, Ontario then moved to Kitchener-Waterloo when I attended the University of Waterloo to pursue my degree in Environmental Studies. I fell in love with KW and have lived here ever since! In my final year of study, I started my photography business and found my true passion documenting couples’ love stories! 📸

If I’m not out taking photos, you can find me at spin class, reading a good book, or trying out local restaurants & coffee shops ☕️ My current local faves are Poppy’s Bagels, Johnny Fresco’s and Kinkaku Izakaya 🤤 (If you need a restaurant or coffee shop recommendation - let’s chat!!!)

I am a very enthusiastic person and I love exclamation marks!! and emojis!! 💅🤩✨🤠🤌

I love reading. Between 2023 and 2024, I read 47 books. I especially love fantasy (the Fourth Wing series is currently living rent free in my head) 📚🫶🏻

This might be a hot take, but winter is my favourite season! Maybe make that a cold-take?❄️ Skiing is one of my favourite sports and we try to make it out to Alberta every winter to really embrace the winter sport 🏔️🎿

I love that you’ve taken the time to get to know me a bit more!! I can’t wait to learn more about you 🥰

My Values

I am a strong advocate for equity and inclusion. I do not tolerate discrimination of any form, including but not limited to gender, sex, sexuality, race, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, marital status, religion, ability, or age. I welcome and celebrate our differences. Fatphobia has no place here. All bodies are deserving of love, attention, and photography.

Why Photography?

I’ve written and re-written my “why” so many times… But what it really comes down to is the emotions photography evokes. I get to help people regain their confidence. I get to document stories that will be passed down for generations. I get to connect with strangers who later become some of my closest friends.

Photography is so much more to me than delivering files. It’s my ability to make a difference in people’s lives.
